Why 2025 Was the Year That Found Me (and Why 2026 Scares Me a Little)
If someone had told me a few years ago that I would look back at 2025 and call it perfect, I probably would have laughed—maybe even cried a little. But here we are.
2025 was the year everything quietly clicked.
Not in a flashy, Instagram-perfect way. But in the way that actually matters.
My Family, My Foundation
First and most important: my family was healthy.
My kids were happy, growing, learning, and reminding me daily that joy can be found in the smallest moments—like car rides, inside jokes, and spontaneous hugs. My relationship felt stronger, calmer, more grounded. When your home feels steady, everything else becomes possible.
Health truly became my greatest measure of success.
From Office Work to Electrolysis: Finding My Calling
Professionally, 2025 was a turning point I didn’t see coming—but desperately needed.
After years of office work, I made the terrifying leap into electrolysis, leaving behind what was familiar for something completely unknown. I didn’t just change careers—I found my calling.
Electrolysis gave me purpose when I felt hopeless. It gave me something to build with my own hands, something meaningful. Helping clients feel confident in their skin, educating them about permanent hair removal, and watching their transformations reminded me why I started.
Electrolysis isn’t just what I do—it’s why I do it.
Rebuilding Myself, One Choice at a Time
Somewhere between starting my own electrolysis business and juggling mom life, I found myself again.
I got back in shape (by my standards—and that’s what counts). I felt stronger, more confident, and more present. Not perfect. Not obsessed. Just healthier and more at peace with my body and my mind.
2025 reminded me that growth doesn’t have to be loud. Sometimes it’s simply showing up consistently.
Why 2026 Scares Me (Just a Little)
Here’s the honest part:
I’m scared of 2026.
When things go this well, it’s natural to worry—what if my luck changes? What if the balance shifts?
But maybe it’s not luck.
Maybe it’s alignment.
All I Ask for the Year Ahead
As I step into 2026, my wishes are simple:
Keep my family healthy
Continue growing my electrolysis business
Keep my clients happy, supported, and confident
Educate more people about electrolysis as the only FDA-approved permanent hair removal method
Spread the word so more people know they have options
If I can do that, then I’m already winning.
A Note to Anyone Reading This
If you’re feeling stuck, burned out, or hopeless—please know this:
It’s never too late to start over.
It’s never too late to choose yourself.
And sometimes the year that scares you most is the one that helps you grow the most.
Here’s to trusting the work we’ve already done—and walking forward anyway.
